Which personal data does V.O.F. process and why does she do that?

Will the personal data remain in Europe?

All countries that fall outside this scope are considered a 'third country'. V.O.F. In some cases, Waterman Sport transfers personal data to third countries, namely the USA. This only happens if it has been expressly established at European level that an appropriate level of personal data is guaranteed in the country in question. With regard to the US, we only transfer data to parties that are certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield.

How long will the data be retained?

V.O.F. Waterman Sport stores the data it collects for different periods, depending on the category of data and the way in which it was collected. The precise terms are included in the register of processing activities that V.O.F. Waterman Sport has drawn up.
When determining the applicable terms, V.O.F. Waterman Sport firstly assumed legal (minimum) terms. Consider the legal obligation to retain accounting information. Furthermore, V.O.F. Where possible, Waterman Sport has sought to adhere to the retention periods included in the Wbp Exemption Decree. For example, a retention period applies to the customer's contact details that runs for a maximum of one year after termination of the relationship between the parties. Finally, V.O.F.
