A skating helmet is already mandatory during many lessons and training sessions. Safe skating is of the utmost importance.

A skating helmet is:

• Closed at the top (so that no skate blade can penetrate it)
• Rounded at the back (if you fall, you can easily fall on the back of your head)
• Lightweight (to prevent neck pain)

You may fall yourself or someone else may knock you over on the (busy) ice rink. Prevention is better than cure.
